Most divers think of it as a resume line — the first professional cert, a step toward Instructor if you ever go that route. What it actually is: the point where your relationship with diving fundamentally changes.

You stop being someone who shows up, gets briefed, and follows a guide. You become the person responsible for the brief, the group, and the judgment calls when something doesn’t go according to plan.

We don’t rush this course. Class sizes stay small on purpose, and we expect candidates to arrive with solid water skills already in place — not a promise to develop them during the program.
