At Kraken DiveWorks, our instructors are more than educators—they are mentors dedicated to developing capable, confident divers.
Each member of our team brings a deep passion for diving, a commitment to safety, and extensive experience in both recreational and technical environments. Through structured instruction and deliberate practice, our instructors guide students toward true mastery underwater.
Our teaching philosophy is grounded in the standards of Scuba Diving International and Technical Diving International, but our approach goes further. We emphasize precision, thoughtful dive planning, and skill development that prepares divers for real-world conditions.

The first time that Mike jumped in the water for a dive, he was hooked! Since his certification in 2012, he has worked his way up to become a Master Instructor. Mike’s worldwide travels have allowed him to experience the dive sites in many different locations including the Philippines, Greece and Croatia but his favorite is Tobermory, Canada.

Bill has been connected to the ocean his entire life. His scuba diving journey began in 2019 with Scuba Shack as he prepared for a family trip to Hawaii. One unforgettable night dive with manta rays turned that initial interest into a lasting passion. Today, Bill enjoys teaching and spends as much time as he can exploring the waters of New England, the Great Lakes, and the Caribbean. He is also a technical diver, passionate underwater photographer, and strong advocate for ocean conservation.
