Advanced Nitrox

Gets you working with EANx from 21% up to 100% oxygen:

• Gas analysis and equipment prep specific to high-FO2 mixes
• The foundation for accelerated decompression using oxygen-rich deco gases

Decompression Procedures

Where planned deco becomes part of the dive, not an emergency:

• Multi-gas decompression strategy — bottom mix, travel mix, deco gas
• Dive planning software — DECO Planner, GAP, V-Planner, or equivalent
• Team-based stop management and gas-switch protocols
• Contingency and emergency ascent procedures specific to deco-obligation dives

These two courses are typically run together, and for good reason — the planning skills from one directly feed the execution skills of the other.

If you’ve completed Intro to Tech and you’re running doubles comfortably, this is the next step. The dives get longer, the planning gets more interesting, and the margin for sloppy thinking gets a lot smaller.
